Kevin has SIX siblings! They are spread out fairly far around the country, and thus, they don't get together very often. But this year is the 50th wedding anniversary of Kevin's parents. So almost everyone trekked out to Whidbey Island, Washington to mark the occasion. We had a wonderful time, getting to hang out with "new" cousins, and the setting for the gathering could not have been more beautiful!
We woke up every morning to an ocean view.
We went on nature walks.
We visited the beach and collected rocks and seashells.
We went out on a boat underneath Deception Pass.
We got to know our extended family better - playing games, painting nails (that was Bridgette's doing), and riding the mini zip line.
And we took family photos. We haven't gotten the photo back from Kevin's parents that has everyone in it. We'll post it when we do. But here are a few I snapped...
