My dear friend Tisha invited me to go hiking on Memorial Day this year. Only, it turns out the invitation wasn't just for me. It was for my whole family. I was literally in the car, at 6 or so in the morning, about to drive over to her house, when she called to check on my family's progress in getting over there. OOOOoooops.
I quickly ran in the house, woke my husband and children up, and took them on the hike with us.
It turned out to be a delightful morning. We trekked a trail on South Mountain, and I got inspired to try more family hiking in the future. Well, we'll see...
