Let the Hunt Begin

This year, we had another classic Easter Egg Hunt.

A slightly smaller crowd came to my house this year for ham dinner and the big hunt.  The location change (the past few years, Marc and Karen hosted) did nothing to lessen the fun.  In fact, for Bridgette the fun was enhanced.  She got to hide the eggs this year.  She and Grandma took a GIANT basket of eggs (I think around 500) and spread them out throughout our backyard.  The palm trees and "jungle" bushes, made great egg hiding spots.

 The dads trailed the kids with cameras (and to make sure no one fell into the pool).  The moms sat on the patio and watched.

The kids hunted every nook and cranny of the backyard, 'til I believe all the eggs were truly found.

Everyone partook of the delicious treats.

As for me, I tried to add some additional fun with a few photo props.  I got a few people to picture pose for me.
