Portland Part II

The main event in Portland - Bridget and Derek's wedding - was absolutely lovely.

The bride and groom chose a trendy hotel in downtown - the site of one of their first dates - at which to have their wedding.  The decor, the flowers, the food, the dress - all seemed right out of a magazine.

We have to give kudos to Grandma Hanson, because we understand that she helped with the plants.

And we especially liked the photographic theme.  Family wedding photos from both sides of the family were hung on the wall.

And guests were encouraged to utilize an old fashioned photobooth in the hotel lobby and hang the resulting pics on the wall.  We, however, didn't get our photobooth pics 'til the next morning because little Bridgette wasn't feeling well the night of the reception. Fortunately, you can see below that she bounced back nicely and we all had a great time with that photo booth. What a fun idea and a great wedding!
