The Real Issues

Kevin and I invited assorted family over to watch the first presidential debate this year. Among the relatives invited were both Democrats and Republicans, extreme and moderate. However, when Derek (Jen's sister's husband) threatened to wear his Palin shirt (this was before the Katie Couric interview - when you could still believe that people would wear such a shirt in public), we immediately had to counter by getting Obama paraphernalia. Bridgette looked the best in her Baby Obama onesie. When the debate began, we propped her up in prime viewing position. She did not seem so excited at this consideration...
