Have iPhone, Will Travel

Maren is making the most of her new toy (after standing in line to get one at 6 am the morning they came out). When I traveled out of town for an SAP conference, Maren began emailing me Bridgette photos from her iphone each day - so I wouldn't miss a minute of her growth. Now it's a habit. I love seeing my girls during the day. It's a wonderful break! Here are some samples:

This may be my favorite picture of Bridgette! She looks so small in her big-girl stroller. The straps don't even come close to holding her in - so we don't really use this particular stroller a lot yet (it's amazing how many strollers kids require). But on this day, we had accidentally left the stroller that Bridgette's carseat snaps into at Grandma's house.

I'm jealous that Maren gets to go visit Bridgette during her lunch break. Almost everyday, Maren goes to Grandma Tobler's house or meets up with Grandma and Bridgette at a nearby restaurant. This is the benefit of working closer to home (the benefit of working farther from home is getting to buy a new hybrid vehicle to save on gas!). I wish I could join Maren and Bridgette for lunch/nap time!

Sporty purple PJ's, no? Bridgette's cousin Spencer has matching brown Gap PJ's and her cousin Lorin has matching pink Gap PJ's, but all attempts to take a coordinated group photo have failed. This is due to the can't-stay-still-wiggle-woggles of all the infant/toddlers involved.

Toes to the nose! There is nothing Bridgette likes better than to bring her cute little "piggies" (Kevin's term for toes) up to her mouth for chewing and sucking enjoyment. We often discover the tips of her socks sopping wet with slobber - that is if the socks have remained on her feet. More often, the socks are missing, having quickly been kicked/pulled off.

My girl is too sweet! I love her little profile. Maybe that's because she has my nose! And lips! And cheeks! And ears!
