A Blessing, A Wedding, and A Funeral

Life got busy for Bridgette, as she entered her third month. Bridgette went on not one, but TWO plane trips...for Grandpa Jack Meyer's funeral and Cousin Garrett Barber's wedding.

Traveling with a baby is for the strong!! A stroller, a carseat, and luggage full of formula. Bridgette's Uncle Nathan gave us good tips on getting through security, but it still took a little more time than normal.

Bridgette herself traveled like a little angel! No signs of jet lag here!

Have you ever seen a sexier stroller pusher?!

We blessed Bridgette at the beginning of August. That meant that Bridgette's Grandparents came to town!! Bridgette loved meeting her Grandma and Grandpa Hanson - who turned out to be expert baby huggers.

Maren was awfully proud of Bridgette for looking so darling (the dainty dress was chosen by Grandma Tobler) and being all smiles (Ok - apparently a binkie was utilized) during her blessing. And Kevin did a wonderful job blessing his daughter with all the things a father would want his precious daughter to have.

And lastly, Bridgette finally found time for her first swim! It's the Olympics next for sure!

Bridgette is still the most adorable baby ever!
Love the dress Maren. Looks better on you. Darn it.

Guys, it’s been one busy summer! We had so much fun in Arizona with ya'll. By the way - the baby blessing was an absolute success. We love you three! Hope you're having a blast with "baby cakes" (pet name for Bridgette - seeing as you don't have a pet and therefore don't get the respect you deserve from your colleges)
Ta ta for now...

Cute pictures. What a precious time. Before you know it, she'll be talking back (pre-teen stage starts at age two).
