Bridgette's First Trip to the BeachLast week we participated in the Tobler family's annual tradition of going to the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego. The lawyers attend continuing legal education and the rest of us relax. It's always fun! It was a wonderful week out of the Arizona heat. We decided to drive in order to manage all of the baby accoutrement. It was Bridgette's first road trip and she was great.
We went a few days early so we could visit friends in Orange County. We saw the Phippens and the McCanns and their beautiful baby girls (Grace and Dylan respectively). Errol was able to get us a great deal at the ultra-swanky hotel St. Regis in Laguna, so we didn't exactly rough it.
The rest of the week we were at the Del. The weather was perfect -- much cooler than the past few years. We did standard beach vacation activities: went to the beach, went for runs on the beach and around the wonderful Coronado Island neighborhoods, slept, read, and generally relaxed. Good fun was had by all.

She really is one of the cutest little baby girls I've seen. Such cute features! And She's very alert and happy, congrats again you guys!
A of all: Bridgette is pretty much the Most adorable baby EVER! I can't get over how priceless she is (must be a Hanson thing, cause I'm sure you remember what a cute baby I was! but probably not Bridgette cute!)
B of all: Kev, you are looking kind of gray. Are you all serious and mature now that you are a daddy-type and have to be distinguished and authoritative looking? (don't feel too bad; I found mt first flock of gray hairs the other day and, as you know, I am 8 years your junior.)
And C of all: Speaking of vacations, Gretch posed a thought the other day that Will need some pre-planning (once again Hanson thing!) We should start pondering a Hanson family reunion for next year. Of course I want to be able to see Bridgette before that, but now that I am a home owner, my petty cash has other obligations. I'm sure you know what I mean ;) But let's work on it!
