When Bridgette went to go riding during Christmas break, Kevin was going to move her stabilizers up to help her on the path to being stabilizer free. But then, we asked her if she wanted to try riding without them, and to our surprise she said yes.
I was totally shocked, and yes - PROUD, when with just a little help to get going from Kevin, she was able to ride completely on her own. Wow! By the next day, Bridgette had taught herself even how to start on her own. I was amazed. She's biking like a little demon now.
Here's some video of one of her first independent rides...
And in case you are wondering, Grandpa is still riding too. Vivi won't sit in his basket for long, but Grandpa has gone on rides down the canal and over to Bashas. The basket came in handy to hold the girl scout cookies he bought and brought home.
