Before I left for work today, I went into Bridgette's room, sat on the edge of her bed, leaned over and gave her loves. We were snuggling, singing, and giggling. But Bridgette got serious for a second. She lifted up her hands and used them to push my bangs off my forehead.
"You're more beautiful without bangs," Bridgette informed me.
"You think so?" I responded.
"Take a look at yourself," she demanded. "You're beautiful."
Well, those were beautiful words from my beautiful daughter.

You ARE beautiful - and so is she - and not only on the outside, but very sweet inside, I imagine. Other people can say it, but when your own young daughter tells you you're beautiful - that's the best!
