Very Lucky

Tuesday morning of last week, I stayed home in the morning to be with my girls.  My regular morning helper was sick, and I was able to move my schedule to just stay home myself.

Bridgette was sleeping in my bed (having crept into it in the wee hours of the morning), and she slept til after 9:30.  This is normal for her - go to bed late, get up late.

I was walking by my bed with Viv in my arms, heading towards our master bathroom, when Bridgette suddenly popped her eyes wide open.  She saw me, and her face broke out into a HUGE grin.

"How, lucky am I?!" she asked/declared with the first words out of her mouth, just because she woke up and saw me there.  It warmed my heart - and that's probably the best mother's day gift I could have gotten this week.

I am so lucky to be the mother of such beautiful daughters - inside and out.
