The theme at Bridgette's preschool this semester was SPACE. The children spent the semester learning about planets, stars, and everything else in the cosmos. I think they also spent lots of time imagining galaxies far far away. For the end of the year party, the children were to come dressed as their favorite space alien. Bridgette, however, chose to be a meteorite. She could not be deterred. So, on two pieces of sparkly foam board, she outlined her meteorite. Kevin, with a little help from our neighbor (Brian Melcher) and his saw, cut the meteorite out. And I created shoulder straps with patterned duck tape. Voila! My little Meteorite shined both literally and figuratively at the party...
