Bridgette has a new hobby. It might not be unfair to say that it's actually a mini-obsession. Earthworms. She's been digging them up at school and bringing them home in plastic cups. She loves to take them out of the dirt and hold them. If you're lucky enough to be anywhere nearby (say, within a mile radius), she will probably show them to you. Our dry cleaner, barista, and a random older lady at the store were all appropriately impressed when they were presented with an up-close viewing.
Normal enough, you might say. However, she's taken it to the next level. The other day she asked me to find her some videos about earthworms on-line. We found some very interesting videos on You Tube. After watching them all, we expanded into anything related to worms such as composting and harvesting worms. She not only watched these videos, but now she talking about having her own worm farm and composting operation. She's not kidding around. To whit, I offer photographic evidence...
