Our Little Artist

This summer Bridgette explored her creative side.

We signed her up for painting classes at Little Da Vinci (www.ldvinici.net), a new art/music/dance school by the Chandler Mall, which was started up by a friend of mine from business school.

His wife Maria, who is super lovely, actually teaches the painting classes. Bridgette loved them.  She paid avid attention and carefully followed Maria's instructions, while classical music played softly in the background.  We thought Bridgette's paintings were precious!

So after painting in class, we had to do it at home too.  We turned our kitchen into a watercolor exhibit, hanging up Bridgette's watercolor paintings from rope strung above our kitchen table.  Aunt Gretchen, Little Lorin and I contributed a couple of artworks too.
