I Wanted a Doll House for Christmas!

That's what Bridgette declared when she ran around the couch and found this waiting for her on the coffee table.  Santa delivered it while we were picking up Grandma and Grandpa Hanson at the airport.

It wasn't true of course.  Bridgette, in fact, had asked Santa for a Monkey.  Yes, a monkey.  Fortunately, Santa brought that too.

We had a great time with Santa this year.  After having Christmas breakfast with the cousins at Marc and Karen's home, we returned to our house and made him cookies.  Bridgette decorated them herself.  Then, we put them on a special plate and placed them next to a mug of milk.  Bridgette was very concerend that Santa get milk too.

While returning from the airport in the late afternoon, Santa called us in our car.  With a "Ho, Ho, Ho!" he let Bridgette know that he had just been to our house.  And because she'd been such a good girl this year, he left her some presents.

He sure had!  And Bridgette just LOVED it all.  After confirming Santa had drunk his milk, she exclaimed over her new toys, took every single thing out of her stocking, and animatedly went about enjoying it all.
