Last Monday, we had an unusually strong weather system come through town. It produced the second hail storm I've seen in my 8 years here. The strength varried depending on your locaton. I was at work in North Phoenix and we got quite a lot of hail. Fortunately, we didn't get too much at our house, so no damage!
Bridgette was at Grandma Tobler's house. She was resting on Grandma's bed taking her afternoon "rest." This involves laying quietly on Grandma's bed watching "comedies." (Comedies are what Grandma calls cartoons. This incorrect nomenclature has been instilled in my impressionable daughter. You can imagine my concern.) Bridgette heard the rain and hail and sprang from the bed. She told Grandma, "I need an umbrella!" The result is below. She had a great time playing in the rivers (aka gutters).
