I'm sorry. Did my last post say that the weather had finally turned cooler? As it turns out, the milli-second of cool clouds was an anomaly. This week, we had record heat. Yeah! (Please hear the sarcasm)
For some reason, I thought it would be a good, fall-family-fun activity to go to the pumpkin patch today. I even invited a dear friend and her boys to join us (Nanouka and I bonded over push-ups and crunchies back in the pre-kids days, when we had the luxury of time/money to devote to personal training).
Bridgette and I got dressed up in our boots, so we'd fit right in with the haystacks and scarecrows. But with temps over 90, jeans and boots were awfully uncomfortable. We didn't even last an hour. And Bridgette, who told me this morning she wanted the "biggest" pumpkin, didn't want any pumpkins to take home by the time we left. She told me it was ok to get a pumpkin, "another time."
