Maybe because she is the youngest cousin, Bridgette seems in a hurry to catch up. She was full-on crawling before Christmas. And now, she constantly pulls/pushes herself up into a standing position and and walks along using the wall, couch, chair, etc. for support. She loves being vertical. (Photo below taken 1/4/09)
These actions led to the great bet: When will Bridgette walk?
Cousin Jackson says 10 months (which he is partial to, since that is when he first walked), Kevin says 9 months (which he is partial to 'cuz he is the proud Papa), and the rest of us have all put in our bids at the weeks in between or after. Under the terms of this bet, walking is defined as 5 steps unassisted, and the losers have to buy the winner ice cream! Go Bridgette Go.
