It's the MOST musical time...

I love singing, and I especially love singing at Christmas! So, I was delighted to be asked to do a duet with a lady in the ward this past Sunday. Amid all the other holiday hoopla, we fit in several practices, and I finally got the harmony down right. Thank goodness! The pressure was on because everyone else in the musical number - flutist, pianist, and soprano - was fabulously talented!

Of course, the whole family got to get dollied up in our festive best for the ocassion. We could absolutely not resist putting Bridgette in this adorable hat, and the weather cooperated by being appropriately overcast for it. We all matched in our classy black and red! Even Gradma and Grandpa must have gotten the memo.




Performance nerves proved too much for Bridgette though. She spit up all over my new dress right before we sang! Thankfully, we had baby wipes on hand. The show must go on.
