An Apple a Day

As I've become a blogger (the natural consequence of becoming a mother and developing the driving need to share photos and exploits of my perfect child with one and all), I've had to familiarize myself with photo editing. Sadly, Photoshop Elements had me pulling out my hair in frustration. However, this week I am triumphant!! I found a local digital scrapbooking class to attend at Blissful Living Studios, and I've finally learned a few basics. See the results of my first educated efforts below...

Incidentally, the knitted apple hat that Miss Bridgette is wearing was a gift to our daughter from our dear friend Marvel. Though Bridgette was a pumpkin on Halloween evening, she wore this during the day. She truly is the apple of our eye. The lyrics quoted above from one of my mother's favorite songs are about serving young women and helping them grow. We hope we can polish our little apple too.

I love Bridgette! She looks so adorable in her outfit. Great job on the Photo Shop attempt. You're a natural.
