A Smorgasbord of Bridgette

We've been criticized for not publishing enough Bridgette news. In our defense - we've been busy feeding, burping, and soothing Ms. Bridgette. And quite frankly, our brains have been too fuzzy from sleep deprivation to intelligently post anything. But Bridgette slept a continuous 6 hours last night (Woo Hoo!), so we're giving this posting a try!

Learning how to eat! We're happy to report that Bridgette has become a top notch eater. She's huge today compared to the above picture. In fact, at 3 weeks old, we took Bridgette strolling through the mall. We passed a young couple carrying tiny twins. Bridgette was a giant in comparison!

Coming home from the hospital! That Arizona sun is really bright.


Riding in a carseat! At first, Kevin and I panicked when Bridgette's head lolled forward. After multiple car trips though, which Bridgette snoozed through with nary a complaint, we determined that she likes it that way. Consider the cramped quarters she lived in for 9 months!!


Sleeping in bed with Mom. Though not depicted, Bridgette is also very fond of sleeping on her dad's chest. But when we let her in bed with us, it's a sure sign that we're simply too tired to take her back to her bassinet one more time.

The Baby Burrito! Bridgette loves to be swaddled.

Lying around. Bridgette has enjoyed trying out all her blankets. No rolling yet - but she's great at squirming!
