Sandye and Wendy hand-made darling invitations. They searched and searched for the perfect paper, and found some with Maren's favorite color - orange! Note the cute button on the front of the invite. Maren tried to carry through with the button theme on her thank you notes, and Janet (Maren's mom) put ribbon and buttons on the party napkins too!!
Aside from buttons -the other pseudo shower theme was gardening. If you could read the pots that the flowers are contained in below, you'd see that one says "plant", one says "grow", and the last says "bloom". We're hoping are baby grows and blooms too!
Carolyn created these cute shower favors - pacifiers made out of life savors and jelly beans! Way too adorable to eat.
Baby Girl Hanson received many, many adorable gifts. As said above, we were amazed by people's generosity. But we were also astounded by people's talent. Beautiful homemade blankets, clothing, and even an origami mobile were among the gifts. This sweater shown below was crocheted with love by Sandye Sovereign.
Maren's niece, Caroline, helped hand the gifts to Maren for unwrapping! She was very good at her job. Note in this picture, we're holding a gift from Jen Tobler.
Kevin came at the end - the proud papa - to help carry home the gifts. He even wore a pink shirt in honor of the occasion. Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated the imminent arrival of our baby girl with us.
