Skirt Chaser

On Friday, February 29th, Maren, her mom, Sandye Sovereign, and I participated in a fun 5k run called the Skirt Chaser. The idea was that all the girls got cute little running skirts when they registered. Then at the race, they got a 3 minute head start on the guys. So the men were literally chasing the skirts! Maren said that as the first men caught up to the female pack you could hear the girlish squeals! I was mostly concerned that I wouldn't even catch Maren. How bad would that have looked? But I did, and we crossed the finish line holding hands. It was very cute!

Maren dominated the pregnant category. There wasn't another one in sight!
